GIRLS SOCCER

Cape Coral 8, East Lee County 0: Cape Coral (4-3-1) spread the scoring around, led by Sophia Fallacara’s two goals. Zoe Maurillo had a goal and two assists, Sophia Vianest a goal and an assist, Callie Gee a goal and an assist, and Olivia Toro, Hailey Peterson and Anjelica Murillo added a goal each. Abby Mourning made an assist. Peyton Gogo had the shutout win in goal.

ECS 8, Island Coast 0: Island Coast slipped to 1-7.

Bishop Verot 13, Gateway Charter 0: Katie Pelkofski scored three goals, and Caroline Pelkofski and Jillian Haataja added two goals and an assist each for the Vikings (6-0). Alyvia Mueller and Gianna Fabrizi had a goal and an assist each. Courtney Krietzer and Kamryn Fowler added a goal each, and Khloe Ebersol, Lea Scotti and Lila Dinkel contributed assists. Grace Riley blanked the Griffins for the win in net.

BOYS SOCCER

Mariner 2, Gateway 0: Gabriel Garcia and Justin Medero scored the 8-0 Tritons’ goals, with assists by Alessandro Gonzalez and Justin Corbalan. Federico Buitrago made four saves, earning the win in goal.

Island Coast 3, ECS 2: The Gators earned their first victory of the season.

Lakewood Ranch 8, North Fort Myers 0: North slipped to 1-5-1.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Cape Coral 67, East Lee County 59: Elijah Felix’s 15 points led four Seahawks in double figures. Mac Rubicco and Cole Huff scored 11 points each, and Jordan Rucker added 10 points and 7 rebounds. Cape improved to 2-0.

Ida Baker 56, Bonita Springs 52: The Bulldogs evened their record at 2-2.’

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Cape Coral 69, East Lee County 32: With the win, the Seahawks are 4-1.

Canterbury 60, Ida Baker 15: Baker earned its first win of the year.

Bishop Verot 53, Palmetto Ridge 27: Ambrielle Calixte scored 15 points and Caroline Ward had 12 points for the Vikings (4-0).
