Three commissioners were sworn in today as members of the Lee Board of County Commissioners.

The newly inaugurated Board members are:

District 1 Commissioner Kevin Ruane, who was re-elected to the Board after serving since 2020.

District 3 Commissioner David Mulicka, who was elected to the seat earlier this month, replacing Commissioner Ray Sandelli, who retired.

District 5 Commissioner Mike Greenwell, who was re-elected to the Board after serving since 2022.

Following the ceremony, the Board held its regularly scheduled meeting. Lee County Clerk of Court Kevin C. Karnes presided over the Board’s selection of its new chair for the year ahead. Commissioner Kevin Ruane will serve as chairman. Then the Board selected its vice chairman, Commissioner Cecil Pendergrass.
