City of Cape Coral Flash Report 3, 7 a.m. Sunday
The city of Cape Coral issued its third Tropical Storm Milton flash report at 7 a.m. Sunday.
The Cape Coral Chamber of Commence holds a seat at the Emergency Operations Center and will share updates as the storm progresses.

Tropical Storm Milton Briefing – 7 AM, 10/6/24
Milton Forecast to become a Major Hurricane before making landfall.Flood Watch out for the entire area through Thursday.
Milton is forecast to rapidly strengthen as it moves eastward to northeastward across the Gulf of Mexico and become a major hurricane before making landfall. Hurricane/Storm Surge Watches likely later today.
Flood Watch out for the entire area. Rainfall amounts of 5 to 8 inches, with localized totals up to 12 inches.
Timing of impacts to the area looks to be anywhere from late Tuesday to early Thursday morning. A good deal of uncertainty remains with where the storm will make landfall. It should be noted that the average NHC track error at day 4 is around 150 miles.
